Since it originally came out in 1982, I've seen it loads of times and that bit towards the end where ET "dies" on the operating table still makes me cry every time.

Does it affect anyone else? Or am I a sensitive old sod?

That's not good, if you're feeling emotional you need to let the tears flow.

LOL, daft thing.

Certain biscuits, particularly chocolate digestives, aren't meant to be dunked.

I just take a bite then a drink, rather than dunking. Oreos are my favorite. Regular Oreos.

If it has filling, I just stick a fork or a chopstick into the filling and use that to dunk

I made the mistake of saying to my daughter ET was the baby alien.

Much tears at the start of the film when they left the baby behind.

I dont believe she's seen the end yet.

I can remember sitting in the cinema with my mum watching this.
I noticed at that point and turned and asked my mum why was everyone crying. She was crying. I never got an answer! It's only since my mum passed, that all my checked emotions have become unchecked. Before that it was family passing and fur baby passing that got me going all Niagara falls, now....

I watched that as a teenager last and can't remember if I did cry there. Terrible memory here. I remember notable events only.
