Have tried adding some dried Habanero chili to it? No need to add a lot, a little should enhance the flavor and spice.

Oh yeah, if you clean the insides of the chili well you'll kill the spice.

she used 5 fresh jalapeños and 3 fresh habaneros. And she didn't seed them.

It wasnt the spiciest chili but it brought some heat.
