I generally prefer to get a sundae (basic hot fudge and caramel over vanilla) or a shake/malt/float than just have scoops of this or that flavor.

But as far as flavors go I like vanilla, French vanilla, cookies and cream and blue moon best.

Unless we're talking specialty flavor stuff like Ben & Jerry's then it's Chubby Hubby.

I'm pretty on board with any of those things... ice cream, shaved ice, snow cones, soft serve.... Yum. Never all together, though.. :\

We have a local frozen custard place, but we haven't been to it yet. They're moving locations and closed right now, but we may have to try after they open up the new shop.

They've stripped the inside and there's nothing in the new building yet... breaking in won't really help me out here.

There might be hidden caches of custard under the floorboards if I had a frozen custard shop that's what I'd do.

How does frozen custard differ from gelato or traditional French ice cream, both made from a custard?
