I like my day shift. It starts early so I beat the morning traffic and it lets out early so I beat the afternoon traffic. Which is the best part about third shift. I say that but my work doesn't have shifts for my job. Others they do, and it has 5 shifts.

No one I work with has shift work anymore either. Last time I did shift work I was still in the Navy. And much, much younger.

I like day shift better also. I just said I don't mind 3rd. My favorite is probably 2nd though. Sleep till noon, work, nightcap, sleep. Errands? Just wake up a bit earlier.

That’s true, it’s a nice shift. My current shift is good for errands after work

Yeah so many of us do.
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."

Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918

So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

Oh right... I have too much of that.

And I have too little. What a couple we make; a veritable Jack Spratt and his chubbly wife.

Hey! I'm on a diet.

Sounds tasty.

Well not much happens after 50.

Only the worst parts. Dementia, erectile dysfunction, and a slow decay toward an excruciating death.
