Nah I'm still in quarantine.
Texas was a bit faster than most of the country to lift sanctions.
I worry it was too soon also.

considering the number of cases you have in the US, the emergency state should be more strict

I agree with you.
I've scarcely left my house except to go get food since March and it sucks.
For reference, here are some stats for confirmed cases of infection per capita by country.
UK: 0.420% (pop c. 2019)
US: 0.576% (pop c. 2019)
TX: 0.238% (pop c. 2019)
Morocco: 0.022% (pop c. 2018) (damn, y'all are doing pretty well, or no one is getting tested)
So while it's true the US isn't doing great, Texas is actually doing all right, all things considered.
That said, I still agree that it's probably too soon.

Texas’ numbers keep rising cause ... we’re a big state!
Like, if we have the freedom to roam, those that know how to take precautions will do so. If people are not ready to venture out, then so be it too.
There’s a balance in it all. States like New York , or Massachusetts are built up all together and there’s so many people up on top of one another, and that’s why they’re more panicked.
Texas is huge, that and the main place we are going is to a state park, it’s open and wide, they encourage face masks for even being outside!
Sure Texas is opening fast, but it’s how things are handled is what shows results.
I keep reading, to not watch the numbers, but watch the percentage that are coming back positive. Testing is getting to be more available, and that’s why numbers are popping up and up and up. Then at that point, they’re told to quarantine.
If you feel off, stay at home, but if you wish to venture out, do so at your own discretion

Noodles is correct.
Venture bravely if you desire
Defend stoutly if your concerned
We should trust in our own intellect as it will never fail our beliefs.
