No, it's an ongoing scoreboard.

this means, if someone doesn't keep posting, they will fall off.

Example

Today is number of posts from 4/26 to 5/26

Tomorrow will be number of posts from 4/27 to 5/27

However, that's over simplified, it goes by the hour and minute too.

It doesn't go down to the second. It just goes down to a month ago at the current hour and minute.
