The perk of being a member is being able to read the chapters as they get translated, that doesn't cost anything. They aren't available after the books get published unless it's a catchup for the month.

No bonus for prime?

Electronic books aren't cheaper for Prime, no.

But the format Kindle puts them in is better. As in you can do a lot of pointless extra stuff, that you can't do in other ebooks.

That said if it's for studying it's fantastic stuff as you can create bookmarks and notes. You can do a bunch of stuff. You can even create study cards or link key ideas to single topic you create.

Obviously if you bought a roleplaying book or something to it where you wanted to link several things across a span of pages but only a few things mentioned, you could put them together under a topic you create and bring them up all at once.

Kind of neat in a way, but ordinarily not very helpful or useful.

Yeah most of my textbooks have been ebooks and half of those were kindle Ebooks.

I like them.

Nice, I never actually had any use for it. I just thought they'd be useful for text books

For Light novels though, there's not much point in paying extra for those features.

You can still read the Ebooks on the Kindle too. I read them on my Oasis, which is a fantastic E-book Reader

There are lots of apps for mobile and windows 10 also. I read most of my textbooks on my surface pro.

Cool, I never had one of those, but I hear they are an excellent mix of a tablet and laptop

Yeah they have the tablet form factor but they run a real os and have a powerful core.

Well my Oasis is cool, so I'll stick with it. I have a desktop as computer, so no need for anything else.

I want a desktop but can't justify it yet.

I get that, I have two desktops that are pretty much in use all the time and a laptop that hasn't been used in awhile.
