It's good. It's Gemma's second best performance and easily Tessari's best work. It's only my 6th favorite Van Cleef spaghetti though.

What's your #1-5?

I thought it got a bit weaker when the focus shifted more onto Scott Mary, but the ending was worth it.

1. Big Gundown
2. For a Few Dollars More
3. GBU
4. Sabata
5. Death Rides a Horse

The first half of Day of Anger is definitely better than the second half. If the entire movie was more consistent it'd be better than Death Rides a Horse.

The whole Sollima trilogy is good honestly. But Big Gundown is my favorite of the three.

Also The Grand Duel is another one to look into if you like Death Rides a Horse and Day of Anger. It's another Van Cleef in the same vein as those.

Have you seen Cemetery Without Crosses? I'd recommend that one.

I should break out my Great Silence DVD that's still my favorite one of all.

The weakest part of that one is probably just John Philip Law's performance, but it doesn't ruin the movie.
