i'm halfway through super castlevania iv, just beat the golem and entered the castle

the castle is hell, but only in a figurative sense

Yeah I was gonna say, 3 USA is pretty rough. I'd say that one is Contra tier.

in order of the difficulty i perceive, hardest to easiest: 1 > 3 > 2 > GB1 > Bloodlines > GB2 > IV = kid dracula

Kind of a shame that Rondo, Dracula X, Legends and Vampire Killer got snubbed. Haunted House at least got on the Arcade Anniversary one.

rondo didn't surprise me because sony probably snagged console rights to it with castlevania requiem

each drac's castle level gets progressively more unfair

on second remembering attempt, it wasn't wolfman, it was someone else

wolfman's the one dracula wants to avoid because he's so annoying

belmont hydro storm spams and kills dracula

dracula ends up in chaos land and the last thing you hear is wolfman going "hi dracula"

I'm onto Fire Emblem Three Houses and now my life is only the parts that exist between me playing Fire Emblem.
