As awful as trump is, and he is truly awful, the dems literally dont have a candidate who could take him on. There isn't anyone new with enough charisma to win, and none of the old guard have enough credibility left. Hell. Trump never should have made it past the primaries in the first place. American politics is bonkers. That said. Australian politics wasn't any better, and neither are British apparently.
