You live over in the US, try being disabled under the current British government, no chance of a job, they'd cut your benefits in a pinch if they could...

I dread to think...
I'm a disabled heterosexual (contrary to popular belief) male in Sir Kier Starmer's UK, I have no hope of ever getting a job, especially at 49 and unable to work full time...

To further add to your point lolin, American healthcare is expensive as hell as you get charged ridiculous amounts for everything (including being put in an ambulance if it's needed).lolin wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025, 17:48Rich-Allen1976 wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025, 05:46

While we in the UK have the NHS that while in drastic need of improvement is still free and we only have to pay when going private. We are 100% better off over here.
Trans rights in both countries are getting ridiculously bad regardless, so I absolutely feel sorry for your situation and I'm sorry that I can't do anything to help you out.

The British government would sell the NHS to Trump if they could.

i have the benefit of medicaid, which is one of two government run insurances (medicaid is usually for minors and the disabled, medicare is for retirees/people older than 65)UnmeiNoTenshi wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025, 18:03To further add to your point lolin, American healthcare is expensive as hell as you get charged ridiculous amounts for everything (including being put in an ambulance if it's needed).lolin wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025, 17:48Rich-Allen1976 wrote: ↑23 Jun 2025, 05:46
