"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.
Look at that patriotism I can almost feel the bald eagle about to burst from my chest. I've lived both places and drunk plenty of beer from both and can firmly say I prefer Australian beer. Taste is entirely subjective however, so who am i to judge someone's penchant for drinking cat piss.
Don't worry MoV maybe in another 20 years someone will tell Australia that the rest of the Western world started improving their beer 20 years ago so they can start catching up.
Warm ale is better than that shitty carbonated piss.
My semen has a better head on it than Castlemein XXXX

It's just because we haven't managed to steal the idea from anyone else yet. They shipped us off to a damn island.

To be fair most of my post was hyperbole, I still gotta say though the best beer I've ever had was from a tiny in pub brewery on the beach here. It was their own weissbier recipe and it was fucking phenomenal. I have never had another like it and have been chasing the flavour ever since. Unfortunately the pub was sold and it was the old owner that was the brewer, so it is no longer available. They also made a fantastic traditionally brewed alcoholic root beer. Which also made fantastic root beer floats.
