Well statistically it's far more likely that at least one of any given pair is a wolf.
After this next night phase, when we can assume a villager will die, there will be a population of 7, with 3 wolves. Then the probability of any singular person is a wolf is 3/7.
The probability a wolf is in a given pair is then 1-(4/7*3/6)=5/7, whereas the probability that it is neither of them is 2/7.
That said, the probability of either of the pair being a wolf, given that one of the pair is a wolf, is 5/14, or (improperly, for comparison) 2.5/7
It's still a better choice to pick one of the pair at 2.5/7 than it is to pick anyone else.
