In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.

Ahh yes I see that.
I don't think I could add much to the conversation though.
Apart from just commenting on favourites that are not normie stuff.

"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
Ethel was a very good little early NWOBHM band, a shame they didn't release more. Exterminator isn't my thing.

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
Not heard Fugitive before, but it sounds like a cross between Nwobhm and Marc Bolan.
Not much of a fan of Exterminator either. I just like raw music and thats about as raw as it gets.
What about Slut Machine? The Norwegian band from like 96?
I can't find their stuff on Youtubs but I have the album, on vinyl of course.

Yeah I found that but they all show as not available.
It may just be that they don't allow it over here for some reason

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
But yeah they're pretty decent if not a bit bog standard thrash.

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
Well leave it to the Scandanavians to do it bog standard

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
Speaking of pointlessly region blocked bands, look up High Tide. Specifically their Sea Shanties album. Great pre-Sabbath proto-metal/heavy prog band. I was going to post them ITT but their videos don't work in Murrica so I never did.

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
I will do just that.... thank you!

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
No problem. Their self-titled album is good too but it definitely moves solidly into long-winded prog territory.

Re: In hearing of Papa Jupiter's electronic fart machine.
I'm liking what I hear so far. The vocals are so smooth and chill but the guitars are all over the place going in one direction and the next before going back to join the rhythm section but only briefly.
Quite interesting!

Speaking of which, it's amazing how drastically different a band can be from one album to the next. I'm pretty sure I've posted that first Blossom Toes song already, but they're a good example. The first track is from their second album, the second track is what they sounded like on their debut album.
The second song may make you cringe.
