Actually there's a restaurant near me which serves their own root beer and it's pretty good.

Tastes halfway between a root beer and a cream soda, and it's so smooth.

A lot of places serve 1919 without bothering to mention it so it's entirely possible you've already had it. A lot of restaurants nationwide use it. Unfortunately they don't sell it in bottles or cans.
