Waffle fries, steak fries and jojos are all garbage tier fries.

waffle fries are great you have awful taste in fries


steak fries and jojos are very hit and miss.

Subway was baseline passable like 10 years ago when you could get a foot long for $5 and they actually put meat in it and the bread wasn't awful like it is now after people whined for them to take that one chemical out.

Chemicals are food too.

But now a Subway sub is like $8 for 1 slice of meat in tough bread and good luck eating it if you dare refrigerate one.

I honestly haven't eaten a subway sub in probably about that amount of time. There used to be a subway right next to my work and I made friends with the "sandwich artist" that worked the late shift and he always hooked me up.

But good fresh cut homemade style fries are actual best fries.

Or standard fries cooked in multiple stages to make them crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

Especially if they were fried in beef or duck fat.

homestyle are great it's true, and honestly, the type of oil/fat they're fried in probably makes a bigger difference than the cut of the fry.

jojos and steak fries are too big, and shoestring tend to be to small so they either come out rock solid with no fluffy inside or soggy and limp.
