RIP. Confirmation from OVH that our server was in one of the rooms that burnt down -
https://help.ovhcloud.com/en-gb/faq/str ... trasbourg/
Our server was in room 61B. Of all threats to AL including hacking etc, we never thought it'd be a LITERAL FIRE that would take it down.
A moment of silence please for the old server.

I remember the very first day we bought and installed it back on 10th November 2014. Of all the AL servers you were the one that gave us the least crashes and least hassle. You served us well over the last six years old friend, farewell~

You're so far past the line, You've gone past the Medusa Cascade, through Narnia and landed smack bang in the middle of Mordor. Where you killed the cookie monster, dissected him, then tried to eat him before choking to death on his insides.

Poor server, rest in peace
I remember the old setup we had. It was a pain in the arse. Then we moved to the server that burned and things became much easier. Not hugely powerful but more than enough for what we needed. We’ve been able to upgrade the system over the years too, to keep it running smoothly.

I have no idea what this means.
"Every position must be held to the last man: there must be no retirement. With our backs to the wall and believing in the justice of our cause, each one of us must fight on to the end."
Earl Douglas Haig, Order to the British Army, 12 April 1918
So death, the most terrifying of ills, is nothing to us, since so long as we exist, death is not with us; but when death comes, then we do not exist. It does not then concern either the living or the dead, since the former it is not, and the latter are no more.
