I like your pixelart dalek.

Thank you, that's kind of you <3 but it's just a cool image I grabbed off the internet (from a dalek Minecraft mod) because the images I already had were too big to use an avatar, so it's not art I created myself. Though one day I hope I can get good at pixel art, so I can create my own icons. There were some really cool pixel art builds in yesterday's Minecraft build competition over at the Virtual Con which was awesome to see! I took part myself but didn't make pixel art.

that's pretty cool. I like Minecraft in general but mostly just treat it like virtual Legos. And can't stay with it long enough to make something really cool.

I like math and science, but never really cared for biology.

I actually liked biology.

it's the least-sciency science I think. That may explain both of us, lol.

My day's been pretty good thanks, just chilling out at the moment but I'll have to get on with some Summer school work in a bit. Lots of maths and biology work, so not too bad since I like those subjects. 

i was never a math and science fan in high school, mainly cause i had horrible teachers, who .. just weren’t enthusiastic about it. 

Awh that's a shame. I hope they weren't horrible directly to you? I never really understand why you sometimes get mean grumpy people as teachers who appear to hate their job- How did they get employed in the first place?! Teachers really can have a massive impact on your experience of a subject, that's for sure. I think I'm just lucky that I go to a good school, so I like most of my teachers. I was actually hoping to give some of them gifts as I was coming to the end of two years with them (just finished GCSEs, and we keep our teachers for the two years working up) but COVID-19 scuppered my plans a bit. Maybe when we go back.

I totally get that, it's amazing how much freedom there is, but sometimes that makes it hard to stick at it, at least in my experience. But I think maybe I'm too much a person who likes to have structure and goals.

Hopefully so! No they weren’t horrible, they just had no enthusiasm!

Like, i wanted to (still want to ) be a meteorologist, cause i like the way storms form, and weather in general. But in order to do that, you really have to be good at math and science.

Granted I’m 31 now, and my attitude has changed towards it all, so the plan is to go back to college soon to live my dream
