I do object.

A guy set them off in the common area behind our house last year, though. It was really nice to watch them so close (but the sound was somewhat muffled since we could sit inside and watch them). I don't particularly want @Jas doing it though. But that's just because I'm a worrier.

Usually there’s a reason as to why fireworks are being set off.
