Re: 3=0
Yeah, provided it's based on documented historical facts and not on some dubious interpretations of those facts. In history many things are not as clear as in science of course so e.g discovering what caused some events is very difficult. But finding what the events were is often easier, but there can be also problems with that. E.g. if the event happened long time ago and the only sources are biased descriptions. E.g. this is a problem with Rome vs. "barbarians". If the "barbarians" didn't have a writing system, the only available sources are from Romans. So how do we know what rally happened?
Are you interested in history? There is a great channel where they read the original source texts. One can often see how different the events were seen from different sides: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqoGR_ ... Rbg/videos

W.r.t. to the US history things are a bit easier I suppose. But still. E.g. There are still some discussions how many people (of different groups) died because of the WW2 etc. And it's a relatively recent event. If there are no documents, or the documents can be doubt, it's really difficult to say things for sure.

Critical thinking is easier said then done.
However, this is actually taught then it appears to be.
That doesn't mean it's effective.

The question is of course is the purpose of critical thinking?
Why then use it if it serves no purpose?
What is critical think?
How is it different than others? And if it is, so what? Is it more effective? If not, why not use what already works.
