(this thread is meant to be light-hearted so that being said please please please do not get into anything heated, despite the thread name, like politics/religion/etc. )

One of my biggest hot takes is that if you are an adult–especially an adult with a job–you shouldn't be pirating anime or manga but instead helping the industry and its artists thrive by purchasing it from a legitimate retailer or at least buying it secondhand (thriftbooks.com is a great site for this!!).

Another is that people who say stuff like "whoa were you high when you drew this?" when artists show off their work are some of the most boring people :^(
