News this week that NETFLIX will be streaming the Halo live action series originally produced by Paramount+.

Not having a Paramount subscription, this is great news for me.

Now, I know that the die-hard gamers out there panned the series for it's departure from the story line, but my question is this.

As a person who has NOT played the game, nor read any of the books, and so DOESN'T know the minutiae of the lore, is the series worth watching?

Engaging story?
Decent acting?
Good special effects?

Give me your thoughts.

As a MASSIVE Xbox fan, to be honest I didn't rate Halo when I played it on the OG Xbox 20 odd years ago.

Played 2 player co-op with my Brother, and back then I couldn't tell left from right so I couldn't tell which side was me.

I say give it a go @Ojisama if you like action, violent alien species, weapons, large flying transport and with weapons and huge spider like machines called scarabs then I recommend you watch I hope you like if you choose to watch it

I have played only one of the Halo games - Halo infnite and to be honest, I enjoyed watching the series a lot. I have already rewatched it a couple of times.
