Possible ideas to increase the forum?

I remember when the forum used to be full of life. I been on here for years even before what this account says. Is there anyway to maybe cox people to join the forum and be active again? I miss the days of the chat room on here and the roleplaying section to be honest. Maybe we can dream and brainstorm and there will be change? It is a thought and a dream...

Anime League Karaoke would be good, have a separate page where people are live on Webcam singing their fave songs, like Japanese anime themes or other stuff.
OK yeah some might sound like they're strangling several cats (lol) but it'd be a laugh.

Sadly, as time moves on, tastes change. Forums are yesterdays media. Discord, Tik Tok, and instant gratification are todays trends. Waiting 24 hrs for to get a reply to a post is so NOT what todays internet population wants.
I remember the days of GFX battles. Sig of the Week etc, but now they are just dust at the bottom of my monitor.

I agree on discord, tiktok and other social media are trending more than forums etc...
I've been away for a good while myself but I still like coming here as "Itachi", checking on
my account and enjoy posting and interacting with like minded on AL...
I'm glad I was born in the mid 80's as we are the last generation who seen retro gaming, msn etc etc.....

Yep, today's Internet kids have no patience and the attention span of a Gnat.

We need a massive cold calling campaign. I'll find an american phone book and then start calling every number in alphabetical order and ask them to sign up. Don't worry, I have all of america covered.

I don't live in North America, but the rare times I get cold calls (because I have call screening on my landline), I'd tell you in no uncertain terms to sod off.
This place does need to better advertised, personally I've deleted my Facebook and X accounts due to the annoyingly toxic community on particularly Faceache, but a lot of people still use it (for some unknown reason?)

I'm a few Discords but I tend not to be very active, seeing as contrary to popular belief I have a very active life beyond the Internet.
