Job I applied for at Tesco "expired" - And they haven't acknowledged, what?

Above.

According to the FAQ on the website, they could still contact me this week, as it's 2 weeks today since the job expired on 22.12.24.

Should I wait or contact them myself?

They do not have Tesco in America, and I am aware of Google.

If you really want to know, contact them. Failure to show an interest sometimes pushes the decision towards refusal.

Well there's no "contact us" links on the careers website for Tesco, and Google's failed me in finding a phone number.

Well given that they're still building the Flats that the Tesco's below, logic dictates they're still building the Tesco shop.

Well I discovered why they haven't responded this week, the shop itself ain't been built yet.

Neither have the Flats above, well at least not internally.

1.) The UK or whichever region you are from doesn't have HR departments or corporate office buildings for major multi-billion dollar corporations?

2.) That's because you won't even try to get the job. These companies go through heaps of resumes each year so why would they choose someone who won't even call to check the status of their potential employment?

Well due to circumstamces beyond my control, I just had to withdraw my application and it is plainly obvious I'll never work. Cry me a fucking river, I did not choose to spend my entire life as a benefit statistic.

There is nothing shameful about being on disability or any other government assistance when you need it. That's why it exists. I'm sorry about my harsh words earlier and I want to let you know that I'm not judging you.

"I can't call "Corporate", Google has failed me to find the number"

That's strange.

Google has given me 0800 505555. I have called it, and it is working. There are a number of automenus, but eventually you get to "Option 6 for recruitment"
