Well at least this will be a good example as to why you need a wardrobe team when you want to make a movie.
Exhibit A: this dude that walked into the 99p store and walked on set with whatever stuck to him...

I hope Jason Momoa got paid well for that.

Why? Minecraft literally has NO plot or story! I won't even go into the fact the majority of video game to movie crossovers end up being rubbish.

Well it seems like they just went "Well Jumanji was cool idea, but it was made in the 90's so people wont remember it.... let's do Jumanji, but in Minecraft". I don't know, it just seems like a bad idea that just happened because: Minecraft.
Even if Minecraft doesn't have a plot, you can still make something up and put it in the Minecraft world, but it has to make some kind of sense. "People get isekai'd into Minecraft and Jack Black is there also.... Ah, who cares. It's Minecraft, we'll patch in a reason in post."
Just steal more ideas... Steal the South Park episode where the parents went nuts and just started building Minecraft things in their real world. Make it some super virus, developed in secret that makes everyone start tripping hard and they just imagine it's Minecraft. I don't know. I'm not a movie writer, but neither were the people who are making/made this hot garbage :P

I think this is out circa the end of next week, like when I went to the new Snow White last week, I'll go with an open mind but I can virtually guarantee it'll end up being rubbish.

That's not true at all, he's a great actor. The problem is that he can only play 1 character and that character is called "Jack Black".

Same with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, unless he's doing voiceover work on animated movies, he tends to just play himself as well.

Although "Black Adam" was one of his best movies that he's physically in, so good I bought a "Black Adam" cosplay.

I also have a cosplay from arguably one of Jack Black's best films, "Nacho Libre", where he plays a Mexican wrestler, big red pants over a light blue bottoms, big red cape, big blue and red mask.
