Above.
I normally deplore Horse racing due to what happens to any Horse that doesn't finish the course, but a few years back I had a punt on the National and won a few quid, and I've had a punt every year ever since.
Having just Googled the Horses running this year, there's one called Eldorado Allen that's currently billed at 100/1, gotta be worth a couple of quid's punt right?
Thoughts?
Should I have a bet on the Grand National 2024?

The only thing I know about horse racing is that bit in that one episode of Black Books. That all worked out so sure, have a whirl. As long as you don't bet the farm, there's no harm in it.

While I understand your reservations about horse racing, it's not uncommon for people to find themselves drawn to the excitement of events like the National, especially when there's a chance to win a few quid. Eldorado Allen at 100/1 certainly presents an intriguing opportunity for a small punt. However, it's important to remember the risks involved and to bet responsibly. Ultimately, it's up to you to weigh the potential rewards against those risks and decide if it's worth placing a bet.

The only time I've betted on sports was the football world cup, which I might do again...
