[FILM] Moana 2

Post by Ojisama » 09 Feb 2024, 13:59

In a surprise announcement, Disney have confirmed that Moana 2 will be hitting screens this November. The 27th to be precise.

Dwayne Johnson is reprising his role as the Demigod Maui, as well as appearing in the live action remake of the original. What's not so certain is who will be voicing Moana. The original VA, Auli'i Cravalho, has already stated that she doesn't want to be involved in a sequel.

The film's rapid release date seems to indicate that the plans for a Moana TV series have been dropped, and that they are using footage already created for the series rather than letting it go to waste.

A short teaser video has been released.

To those just starting on the journey of life I say...

As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

This movie will suck, Dwayne Johnson can't act for toffee.

Wondering what this will bring; with the occassional exception, sequels to Disney movies aren't usually that grand. But I did enjoy Moana. (:

Yeah the only one in recent memory that was as good or better than the first one was Lion King 2.

And rumour has it they're doing Toy Story 5 this year, with all the original voice cast.
