I’m not sure weather it’s allowed or not but I want to wear a ghillie suit to future conventions, if I do what kinds of things should I expect to happen?

Should I wear a ghillie suit To tomorrows convention?

You've left it very late to ask this question, and most of the event staff will be there now, so not sure if they will get to see it in time.

I'll see if I can give one of them a heads up.

I personally don't see a problem as long as you don't have any contraband concealed inside the suit. Be prepared for a pat down, or you may be asked to take it off for checking so make sure you are adequately dressed underneath, and be prepared to get very hot.

Also, have you joined the AL Discord server. There is a section on there dedicated to the Con.

Alright thank you, it’s my first time going to a convention so I really appreciate the advice, I’ll take it in a bag and ask them if I can put it on there as I can just put it over normal clothing so thank you very much

I didn’t know there was one, I’ll see if I can find a link for it, thank you for letting me know.

I've seen a guest wear a ghillie suit to the london con like 5 years ago, but that was at a different venue. I don't see why it shouldn't be allowed, but best check with the organizers. I mean fursuits are allowed so why not a shrubbery.

Excuse my ignorance but what's a ghillie suit?

It's a "suit" made from a coarse material which you then "decorate" with shrubbery and/or strips of cloth to break up your outline and blend in with your surroundings. Used originally by Scottish Gamekeepers to track deer for the Hunting Parties of the Scottish Lairds, they are now more widely known as being used by snipers for covert operations.

Pretty sure I spotted you! You looked great! I walked past you at one point probably a couple of times I was wearing a monokuma hoodie :D (looked like staff gave it the go ahead, folks)
