Amazon Prime UK price to increase by 3 quid a month

I realise the link's about 2 years out of date but it's still happening now.

If this was any other service I'd cancel on principle, but I spend a lot of time, and (much to Dad's annoyance) money on Amazon, and I NEED Prime for the 1 day deliveries/not paying delivery fees.

Thoughts?
