I used to, but only because my late Nan used to insist on it.

In recent years, I tend to be all tucked up in my Pit by 10 PM.

Even though Mrs Brown's on this year, I'll tape it and watch it the next day.

How about you guys?
 
I know that in different parts of the world, Midnight falls either a bit later or earlier than the UK, like in the US on Eastern time, it can be Midnight over here but over there it's only 7 PM.

Yep. My wife insists on it.

As she says, it is one of the few times that we can connect with scattered family members who are all doing the same thing at the same time.

I'm usually up after midnight anyway But you got to see the new year in with people

I don't plan for it but it usually happens.

I'm always drunk at the time and its hard to be drunk when you're sleeping... so I usually stay up.

The last time I did, was NYE 1999 to see if the "Y2K Bug" was actually a thing, and not just some ploy by the likes of PC World to get everyone to buy "Millennium proof" PCs for Christmas.

Fortunately, as predicted, my PC was perfectly fine.

I work till midnight new years eve so I'll be up.

I will be up at midnight but shortly afterwards gotta go to bed for work in the morning. Though I will be drunk... Always have a drink these days lol

I was drinking wine but it wasn't strong enough lol work stresses with being in upper management plus trying to juggle home life with overtime lately needed something stronger

I drank in college to be sociable.
