To be Santa Claus at a children's play centre in Nether Edge! 13.00 to 13.30 interview.

And according to the travel website it's accessible on the Bus, no paying £26 for an Uber on a Friday afternoon.

And if I get the job I wouldn't need much padding for t'suit!

Thanks, if I don't get it you'd be a shoo-in, being a bit older/bigger, you wouldn't need much padding for t'Santa suit

Although to be fair I only met him at last year's Sheffield AL event.

Well the "interview" didn't happen, I arrived at 12.45, after paying about £8 for an Uber to get there due to the local Bus only running hourly, amd if that wasn't bad enough, despite me showing them the emails from Indeed confirming the rescheduled interview which was supposed to be yestterday but for various reasons I can't do Thursdays, they had no record of the rescheduling because the manager wasn't there.

I am in the process of rescheduling (again) for next week, they told me to ring back between 9 and 14.00 on Monday, although to be honest I'm not sure I wanna work for a company who clearly don't know what they're doing, and they're supposed to be a kids' Cafe.

Especially when it's a temporary role for about a month.

I just don't think it's worth the hassle.

Im pretty sure for temp work and sheer need for workers that there is a fast turnaround hiring people. It won't even surprise me if they have hired someone already. Don't feel too disappointed if that happens. Sites like Indeed shouldn't exist- some shady hiring managers about taking advantage of people looking for work...

Against my better judgement, I rang back this morning, around 11, no answer and I wasn't messing about leaving a message.

I've applied for other jobs via Indeed including a remote teaching job even though I have no formal teaching qualifications, I just have minor experience of teaching older people how to use IT when I did that volunteering at the Sally Army up Woodhouse about 4 years ago.
