Anyone doing anything for Halloween this month?

Because Halloween itself falls on a Tuesday this year, is anyone doing anything the weekend before? I might be, I saw on Facebook last week that there's a "family Halloween do" up at Lomas Hall on Sunday the 29th.

There's a few more "adult" events that weekend but I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than visit a Nightclub on a Saturday night, nor would Dad let me.

Anyone doing anything?

"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" (Michael Palin in Monty Python's "Life of Brian")
"I am speaking UK English in a Sheffield accent!" (Me most of the time I'm on the landline or mobile)

I'm going to do what I do every holiday... Stay home, get drunk with a few friends and build something dumb... I'm thinking of overclocking my coffee machine this year... perhaps give it some sort of stabbing arm as well.. and since I love doing stupid stuff, I'm gonna make it IoT, cause thats about the stupidest thing you can do with technology.
Also I'm not american so we don't get trick-or-treaters here.

I'm away on holiday the week before, and will be setting up a doorstep scene for our little visitors when we get back. No expectations of any events or parties.
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

I usually stay inside and play spooky games but I'm not sure if Halloween falls on a work week :( There is also my sister's birthday the day before so usually we do something right about then. We might start the hype the weekend before tbh
