Should mobile phones be banned in schools?

Post by LilMissLarBear » 07 Oct 2023, 18:26

I follow quite a few teachers on social media and we all seem to be in agreement that behaviour and just attitude in students as a whole is getting worse so something definitely needs to be done about it and not just this "oh, teachers and other staff make sure this happens even though its not fully enforced yet, and do this and that all while the kids throw chairs at you and btw you are doing a great job k byyyeeeee" I mean *actually* do something thats going to make a difference

I ranting just a liiiittle bit lol I dont want to steer too much away of the topic but hopefully by now you get my stance on this lol

I 100% agree but it's never gonna happen, they only have to look at the kids funny and little Timmy's on his phone to his Mum crying, and then the teachers get it in t'neck off the Parents for "abusing" their kid, when more often than not, it was the kid who was doing the "abusing" in the first place.
"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!" (Michael Palin in Monty Python's "Life of Brian")
"I am speaking UK English in a Sheffield accent!" (Me most of the time I'm on the landline or mobile)
