For me it was the original Jaws, just before going on Holiday to Camber Sands at the age of just turned 6! Put me off going on the Beach for fear of Shark attacks till Mum said there's no Sharks in the UK (other than Basking Sharks, which don't attack humans)
Also The Dark Crystal, one of the first I saw at the ABC on Angel St (where Argos used to be), I was a bit terrified of the Skesis (to be fair it was my 6th birthday)
