Above.

I am late 40s, my Parents are early to mid 70s, eventually I will have to go into residential care, however most homes don't take younger than 55 clients, is this rule ever likely to be updated/changed to include younger clients?

I am aware of Google.

I am also aware this topic will be ignored, smfh.

I think it might be more to do with the fact that people possibly aren't able to answer your question rather than ignoring you.
Sorry I don't know the answer either, but I hope you can find it from somewhere.

I intend to have an annoying conversation with social services tomorrow morning (we currently don't have a named social worker, just some duty jobsworth who only knows what's written in my file) about this and other issues.

I just found a place in Sheffield that takes from 18+, it's not really this end of Town (Ecclesall Road South) but it's not TOO far.

Looks like a nice place.

So I rang the place up last week, turns out that like the majority of places, they don't take clients younger than mid to late 50s! Update yer sodding website then! Clowns!
