Certified first aid course in Sheffield - preferably free or stupidly cheap?

Post by Rich-Allen1976 » 13 Jul 2023, 20:52

I'm after doing one.

I've looked at the big names such as SJA at Meadowhead, near the former Norton College, and they want £155, I just don't have that kind of disposable income, nor would Dad let me spend it if I did.

I know there's a British Red Cross charity shop in Hillsborough, I might have a chat with them at some point, in the interim, without telling me to use Google as I already have done, can anyone recommend anything?

I've been offered a course through work, to travel down to Nottingham for a day, but it's not certified so it's not really worth spending about £18 on a return Train fares to Nottingham.

Especially when I don't use FA in an official capacity so I wouldn't be able to claim it back on expenses.

You asked the same question back in January. I don't have any better answers than I gave then.
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.
