Personally I prefer cons on Saturdays, I've been going to cons on Sundays for nearly 10 years and there's nearly always a problem with Taxis to out of Town venues because I know not to use Ubers on a Sunday due to the double fares! I know the Sheffield AL con's only at the Mercure Hotel in Town so that's not a big problem, just get off a Tram at Castle Square and walk up.

Anyone else coming? I know @Ojisama will probably be the Bouncer lol.


 

Just the Sunday for me. I usually do both days for cons but after a whole summer of not going to be paid, September is always a tricky time to afford stuffs. Found it easier to just book a hotel room for Sunday (for most hotels it was almost £100 in difference compared to Saturday!) And then just have Monday booked off at work, easy going considering my work is quite flexible

Yeah I know what that's like, I actually got paid "Holiday" pay from work last month, even though I ain't done any actual work since the 21st of March and even that was only an MS Teams meeting for an hour.

Although, I am in the process of possibly getting 2 new jobs with the same company otherwise I'd have resigned last year.

Wavering between just Saturday or both days.

I'm potentially coming on the Saturday, however, it's my Brother's 17th Wedding anniversary on the 16th so they might come up to do summat.
