As I am a "loyal" Google customer, paying £1 a month for 100 Gig of storage, they sent me a free (yes, completely free, didn't even charge shipping) Google Chromecast.

I already subscribe to like Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube Premium so there's no monthly subscription for it, it's still all boxed up as I have no idea how to set it up?

I have Googled it but can't find any info other than it's just plug and play?

Can anyone help?

As mentioned, I have used Google to no avail.
 

iirc, plug the chromecast into the TV, go get the plugin on chrome, and when you want to play media, you right click and hit cast to device (device being what you named the chromecast)

it's pretty plug and play to set up, hook it in and go through a phone to activate it

this is knowledge from having one 10 or so years ago so i don't know if it's changed since then

Well that was a total fail! The flippin' 3 pin plug doesn't fit ANY of my sockets, except on an adaptor in the kitchen, which is pointless when the flippin' thing's supposed to be plugged into t' telly.

I think Vizio tvs have it built in.

My TV's a Samsung.

I sold the Chromecast to CEX this morning for £18 (well I couldn't use it, damn you 3 pin plug that doesn't fit any of my available sockets!)
