Some fool just told me to shut the fuck up on Twitter, I reported her for insult/name calling, 2 minutes later, I get an email from Twitter, "this post doesn't violate community standards", you what? Last year I got a 7 day exile on there for a LOT less.
As I recall I just told someone to sod off.
A bit one sided methinks.
Facebook's just as bad, I'm still serving about another 2 and half weeks of a 30 day exile on there.

Twitter should be the least of your problems. TikTok is getting worse than Twitter I think. There are people on live videos actually scamming people, making fake content for money and I report them all the time. Don't know why I bother they always come back saying no violation. Yesterday someone was spamming that their mum has cancer. Whether it was true or not, I reported it as spam and again, no violation. Social media sites overall really don't care at this point

The problem is most of the big social media platforms are based on the US, where they can say what they want to whom they want and sod the consequences.

As tempting as it is to get involved in commenting on posts where you are bound to get nasty people talking back you are probably just best staying out of stuff. Personally I've come to terms that it's a waste of time and just makes you feel like crap. I've uninstalled Twitter, uninstalled Facebook, debating on uninstalling Tik Tok but for now giving it the benefit of the doubt and I don't use Instagram enough to care either way

I never use TikTok, I installed it once to see what the fuss was about, the constant spam got annoying so I deleted it.

Also, the #1 rule on social media is "never argue with an idiot, they ALWAYS bring you down to their level"
