I stopped being 12 about 35 years ago, so I don't do chat rooms, I used to do use MSN Messenger back when that was a thing though.

There used to be a chat built into this site. That is what is being asked about. Not those AOL rooms full of trolls back in the day. Even at 12 I'd avoid those.
I never used AL chat outside of staff meetings. And the ever so random chat with a buddy.
Oh and CL used to do scavenger hunts like many years ago that used the chat.

What with the Discord and the forums, it was just one more thing to keep track of so I didn't use it much.

I know it'll never happen, but Internet trolling should be declared illegal IMO.
It'd be hard to police though, one person's troll is another's idea of someone trying (and usually failing horribly) to be funny.

Sorry, it's gone and not coming back. Unfortunately the chat system was really not fit for purpose and was basically dead by the time we removed it..

Haha No worries @Ferefire just thought id see who preferred it too what we got now.
I dont think it was dead every time i was on people were there to talk, the new one i open when im on but so far no one talked on it with me.

Ha ha. I've just had a look, and indeed, yours are the only posts showing. That's 'cos it is dead to us, and it doesn't show on the forums anymore, so no-one knew you were posting. You could always try the AL discord if you want to chat to people.

the discord is a nice way to keep in touch with people. it's far more active.
for me, by the time I'm wanting to chat though, not many people are awake. Damn being in the US ._.

Chat just suddenly became very inactive which was a sad thing to see 
integrating the two (chat and discord) would be a great solution, would be even better if discord members were also members of the forum
