Snow White Disney live action remake (2024)
I know they won't officially change the title, but some people on social media are saying "Dwarves" ain't PC, the original came out in 1937 for Chuff sake! Where was all the inane "Wokery" in those days?!

Ugh, the original animated movie had Dwarves, it was 86 years ago FFS! Where was all the "Wokery" about "vertically challenged Miners" back then?

I kinda understand why because the term "dwarf" is seen as a bad word to use now. I just hope they don't change the story too much, but this is a disney live action remake soooo not much hope there

Yeah, that Little Mermaid remake's out next week and people are already crying about the main character being played by a black person.

Yes, they should be more annoyed that the colour in the movie is soo rubbish! There is no colour which is what the original movie had, not who is playing Ariel black or White as she is a mythical creature anyway

I suppose changing it brings awareness to the subject. But it's ridiculous to try to change the term throughout the fantasy genre.
Who used it first? The medical term or folklore?????
