It never rains but it pours! (Annoying eBay item delivery issue!)

So I just had a message from the guy to whom I sold the He Man costume on eBay last week, even though the item was posted via Evri/Hermes last Thursday, according to the tracking it hasn't been sent yet and is still at the Evri Hub, which is possibly the Depot up at Heeley Common.

What gives? I know Evri are one of THE worst couriers but eBay insist on using them because they're cheaper than Royal Mail.

But, you know what they say? You pay Peanuts, you get Elephants! Smh.

I've just come off live chat with Evri, they've escalated the case but to be honest I don't think they'll do anything even though the delay's their fault.

Is there anything legal I can do? I am aware of Google and I've just been on the Evri website as mentioned.

New problem, they tried to deliver something I bought last week around 13.07, we probably literally just missed the delivery guy as I had a Chiropody appointment at 13.00 so we had to leave around 12.55.

They're attempting redelivery tomorrow, under normal circumstances I wouldn't be in on a Thursday, but due to hearing aid problems I'm not going to my course, I do have a Hospital appointment about that tomorrow afternoon so if Evri comes much later than 13.00 they can balls.

FFS! They apparently tried to deliver at 12.24, I was in! I specifically went downstairs to look for the delivery man.

They'll try again tomorrow at the same time, I wouldn't mind but I'd got agendas to pop to Meadowhall tomorrow, might do that on Saturday.

Well the item came this lunch time, just after 12.30.

And there was another package from Temu (which I might send back next week)
