Does anyone know how to open the battery compartment on a Nikon Coolpix L20 camera?

I had my fingernails cut last week, so I can't grasp the thing to open it! D'oh! I'm trying to put the new SD card in and possibly replace the batteries on Sunday, I'm going to take a pack of AAs with me.

I'm aware of Google.

I have no plans to take a hammer to it, it wasn't a cheap camera

To be fair, MC Hammer was one of the few Rap stars of the late 80s/early 90s I actually liked.
