First Aid practice dummy?

Post by Rich-Allen1976 » 10 Feb 2023, 11:54

Above.

Because I can't practice CPR on an actual human (for obvious reasons), does anyone know if it's possible to get a practice dummy either for nowt or mega cheap?

I had a look on Amazon this morning and they're prohibitively expensive.

I'm aware of Google and eBay.

Have you tried St John's Ambulance? They may let you practice on one that they have.

As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

I would but the nearest SJA place is up at Meadowhead, near Norton College I think, but far to travel.

Maybe you can take a class that will provide equipment?

I've looked into it, I spoke to a place down Attercliffe last week, £155 for the course, I don't have that kind of disposable cash, nor would Dad let me spend that much if I did.

I do have a plan to pop to the British Red Cross Charity shop in Hillsborough next week, they might have one that's cheap.
