Going to Akihabara, where should I visit?

Post by Elgood81 » 09 Jan 2023, 11:03

at the end of the month I’m heading to Akihabara, but I’ve no idea where to go or what to do when I get there.

So I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions?

Excuse my ignorance but where's that?

Apparently, before the pandemic, you could book an Anime & Gaming walking tour which would take you around the district, and included visiting a Maid Cafe, a Photo Booth opp, and a Retro Gaming store. I don't know if it is still running.

Updated.

Just done a search on Tripadvisor, and yes it is. Reviews of the tour were posted in December 2022. Costs around £70 for a 3 hour tour.
To those just starting on the journey of life I say...
Bang your own drum. Walk your own path. Live wildly. Love fiercely.
As you near the end, look back with no regrets.

Hmm, that's quite cheap, I thought Japan was expensive.

In actual fact I think getting there itself probably is :D
