The trailer reveals that the sequel takes place a few years later with Miles Morales reunited with Gwen Stacy in order to take down another interdimensional threat. As teased at the end of the first Spider-Verse movie, Miguel O'Hara, a.k.a. Spider-Man 2099, will play a major role in the sequel. He's able to traverse universes as he pleases, which will have some negative impacts on the multiverse. The trailer also shows off a whole universe full of Spider-Man variants, all-new villains.

Given that IMO the original Spider-verse movie sucked, I think I'll give this a miss thanks.
