I started watching Doctor Who in the late 70s/early 80s towards the end of Tom Baker's run, and was hooked.
Favourite Doc other than Tom was Sylvester McCoy, although one of the reasons I enjoyed his stories was cos I fancied Sophie "Ace" Aldred, and she's still gorgeous at 60 (I met her at Elsecar comic con in May)
Most people didn't like the Colin Baker era, he didn't last long and didn't even film his own regeneration from the 6th to 7th Doctor, they used Sylvester in a wig.
