I contacted a French game company the day before yesterday about the Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo on Xbox that came last week, I've uninstalled/reinstalled it about 5 times and downloaded several updates and the thing doesn't work.
Logic dictates it's not my console as everything else works.
I Googled their website and sent them a message, in English, and they're yet to respond.

They're still yet to respond about a week later, I doubt they ever will to be honest... Smh.
Meanwhile I'm stuck with £35 worth of game that doesn't work, and Game won't do anything because according to them it's a software problem! Smh.
Meh, I might just chuck it on eBay, mention the problems and hope somebody can get it to work.

Hmm. Sale of goods act states that the product must be "fit for use".
If it's a brand new game, and you have the correct console, then it can't be fit for use.
Keep trying. They should give you a refund, and don't let them say that it's the manufacturers problem. The law states that the retailer who sold it is responsible.

I emailed Game circa the end of last week, as far as I know, no response yet.
I realise a lot of companies still have staff working remotely due to the Pandemic and I sympathise, but come on!

Well after 2 annoying conversations with Game, they've finally sent me an Evri return label for the game.
I'm sure the first guy said he'd send the label purely to get me off the flippin' line! I hate when people do that.
