Disney have held the rights for Winnie the Pooh for a long time, but now they have come into the public domain and this means that writers can stretch the character in directions the author probably never imagined.
Blood & Honey brings us more demented versions of the cuddly characters, from the mind of Rhys Frake-Waterfield, as Pooh and Piglet become slasher villains.
Christopher Robin brings a young woman to the 100 Acre Wood, visiting for the first time in many years, only to discover that his childhood friends have gone feral during his long absence. This discovery also involves a skull-littered grave bearing Eeyore's name. Later, a group of friends arrives to party at a house near the Wood, before being descended upon by the bloodthirsty characters.
A trailer has been released, but no premiere date yet.
