11 year old Nema's (Marlow Barkley) father has gone missing, so she sets off to find him with the help of her friend, Flip (Mamoa)
The comic strip Little Nemo in Slumberland ran from 1905 to 1927, and did include some dark elements in it's overall family friendly presentation.
The film premieres November 18th on Netflix.
